Giving You A Picture Perfect Smile
There are many reasons you may want a whiter, straighter or more engaging smile. It may be an upcoming wedding, an important business presentation, a professional photo shoot or an improved sense of confidence.
Using advanced cosmetic dental treatments and materials, Dr. Wiltz provides a full range of dental solutions to meet your goals. His skill, experience, and eye for aesthetics ensure you a smile you’ll want to share.
Aesthetic, or cosmetic, dentistry consists of any dental work that improves the appearance of a person’s teeth, gums, or smile. At Madison Prosthodontics, our cosmetic solutions include:
- Teeth whitening: We offer the latest and safest advances in teeth whitening, from in-office bleaching to customized systems you can use at home. We can also whiten individual teeth to match the rest of your mouth for the most natural and beautiful results.
- Tooth colored bonding: Bonding is a relatively quick and affordable way to repair minor imperfections on your teeth. We permanently bond tooth-colored resin to your teeth to fill in a gap or crack, change the size of a tooth or cover up discoloration.
- Porcelain veneers: When a tooth is too small, chipped or badly discolored, we can use thin porcelain veneers to conceal and protect the damaged surface of the tooth. Dr. Wiltz is expert at color matching veneers to your existing teeth for a completely natural appearance. While veneers are quite durable, they are generally not recommended if you have the habit of grinding your teeth.
- Inlays/onlays: These are pieces of porcelain or composite resin that are used to fill or build up a damaged or misshapen area of a tooth. They are used for both enhanced looks and function.
- Crowns: A crown is made of porcelain, metal or porcelain fused to metal to cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can also be used with dental implants to replace missing teeth.
- Bridges: A bridge provides a non-surgical, fixed and relatively quick solution to replace a missing tooth or set of teeth. It is generally held in place by the healthy adjoining teeth but can also be supported by a dental implant.
