A Dental Implant Educational Course for Doctors in the local Madison, Alabama area

9am: Introduction of the Digital Workflow
9:30am: Surgery followed by Q & A session
Noon: Lunch with a round table discussion
This is a live-patient, hands-on, dental education seminar fully dedicated to the clinical integration of 3D Cone Beam imaging, CAD/CAM and single visit dentistry. We will watch the full process of implant planning, placing the implant via a surgical guide, take digital impressions that will be sent to a Cerec CAD/CAM milling unit. Dr. wiltz will perform the implant case on a live patient, place the implant, send the digital impressions to the milling unit and mill out the abutment and the crown. This is strictly an educational event to show the practical application of 3D Cone Beam and 3D guided implant surgery in the general practice.
At the event, the 3D imaging, CEREC Omnicam, MXCL Milling Machine will all be present to demonstrate how it can be utilized to its full potential. There are currently only a few medical professionals in the Madison, Alabama area that fully utilizes this technology. This event will highlight surgical planning of a dental implant utilizing 3d Cone beam imaging, Digital fabricated implant surgery guide utilizing digital impressions taken with the CEREC Omnicam, CAD/CAM designing and milling of an implant abutment and crown using Sirona MXCL Milling Machine, and a live guided implant placement utilizing the digitally fabricated surgical guide.
